Gwendolyn E. Johnson is an attorney at Boswell PLLC, where her practice focuses on litigation. She represents clients in contested matters and brings a practical, client-centered approach to resolving complex disputes. Gwendolyn understands that litigation often arises during some of the most stressful and uncertain periods in a client’s life. She prioritizes clear communication, thoughtful strategy, and pursuing practical resolutions through negotiation when possible, while remaining prepared to advocate for her clients in the courtroom when necessary.

Before joining Boswell PLLC, Gwendolyn spent three years practicing family law, representing clients in contested matters, and gaining extensive litigation experience through hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials. Her interest in advocacy began during law school, where she served as Chief of SMU Dedman School of Law’s Criminal Justice Clinic and competed on SMU’s National Trial Competition team. She also gained experience with the Collin County District Attorney’s Office and the Dallas City Attorney’s Office.

Gwendolyn earned her J.D. from SMU Dedman School of Law in 2023 and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas that same year. She graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in Communication.

Originally from a small town in Central Texas, Gwendolyn remains a devoted Aggie and enjoys cheering on Texas A&M football. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, playing trivia, and spending time with family and friends. She also volunteers with Refugee Resources, where she tutors and mentors refugee students in the Dallas community.
